I had a pleasant weekend. Okay, there were ridiculous, drenching downpours on Saturday, but Sunday made up for it with its green and blue, cool and... pleasant.

I've been playing a lot of Test Drive Unlimited. As console-to-PC ports go, it's good. But the graphics are glitchy, and the CD protection is insane. I couldn't even install the game from my Pioneer slot-loader. And after I installed it over the network, it still occasionally won't let me in until the second try. If your game has a major MMO component, why are you doing a CD check?! Anyway: fun, if not realistic. Enough to make me want to buy a wheel and some pedals. Too bad I just dropped a ton of cash on a portable air conditioner.

I also played around with some DS dev. HexxagonDS is going to be the first Tekktonik Production in uh, about a decade. (ONNASWP was the last one?!)

You can play around with an old version if you haven't seen it. The new one (with CPU players and internet multiplayer) would be ready if I didn't spend all my free time playing video games :P

The Tk logo graced the margins of many a high school notebook. There are ~6 different versions, but it seems like it ended up with the serifs.

D, O, and B all have circular components. I'm imagining something like wildstyle graffiti :D

If that logo rotates with lightning coming off of it... well.. heh that would be badass.

Much more so if it was created entirely from cycling a number of edited characters in text mode.

I definitely remember that '98 catalog-- congratulations with the coding!
