With help from my dad and the Honda Odyssey, I moved my computer back home today (Thursday). This isn't as easy as it sounds, since the whole thing is 8-12 discrete parts depending on how you pack it.

--augh, loses 730 points for blocking incoming emails based on IP address. So that was my early warning to start using comcast's smtp relay again. NEVER FORGET YOU ARE A PROLE, grumble complain etc.

Anyway, I set everything back up, and my left mouse button seems to have given up. I'll take it apart tomorrow and see if I can do anything, but this is probably a good excuse to buy that laser optical mouse. For now, I just have one of the side buttons mapped to the broken one. The other thing I noticed was how much the TV sucks. MythTV has made me love television, I have come to realize. So I actually felt *dismay* that the cable is noisy and I can't tune any HD channels. I'm gonna have to see if the QAM support on my pcHDTV card is any good at all.

Ok, time for much needed sleep. Man, it gets hot in here with all this computer stuff...

MX1000 for teh WIN!

I've been using mine for about6 months now and have no complaints at all. The only wear that I've noticed is on the logitech sign. They stick it right on the hump back. But unlike the 500 series its not embossed but instead just painted on. Well 6 months later its almost totally gone from the mouse.. Eww right?

P.S. have you kept up with star treks so I should start getting rid of these things on my mythtv?
