I just finished seeing Innocence for the first time. My brain is still reeling. Just like how I felt after Ghost in the Shell. The story was not what I was expecting (a continuation of the plot), but it was still pretty good. And the graphics... It was just.. breathtaking nonstop visuals almost the entire time. Too bad there was no English audio track; I had to keep my eyes on the bottom of the screen reading the dialog. And because there is already a long thread about it on IMDB, I'll only briefly mention that I too was pissed off that the only English subtitles were for the hearing impaired. I think the first subtitle you get in the movie is like "[helicopter sound]", and there's a lot more throughout the whole thing... including "[silence]" when there are no sounds to hear!@$*

Huh, it's only been a little over 2 years since I first saw Ghost in the Shell. Feels like much longer.

Hey, there's nothing wrong with watching anime in the original Japanese, and reading subtitles :P

...although, I do indeed hate it when they don't do subtitles well. There are some of us who prefer good subs to good dubs.

I personally didn't care too much for Ghost in the Shell. I was mildly excited when the TV Show was coming out (and bought the first soundtrack)...but soon lost interest.

My main thing is that there's much better stuff out there. At least, in my opinion.

So *shrug*.
