It's sixty-five degrees Fahrenheit outside right now. Oh yeah. My *window* is open.

I've not been that busy lately, just haven't been inclined to write until I actually had some stuff to write about.

First of all, thanks to teferi for moving my shell to The CV_SHRINE now has nine new graa remixes. You owe it to yourself to download at least cv_tech martian peanut butter chillout.

I've been playing a lot of nethack lately. In all my years of nethack, I've never won the Quest. Well, this last game, I won the Quest, looted Fort Ludios, defeated Medusa and Vlad, got to the bottom of Gehennom, defeated the Wizard of Yendor (a couple of times) and the High Priestess of Moloch, and got the Amulet of Yendor. Then I fell down the stairs wielding a cockatrice corpse. It wouldn't be nethack if I just won the game after all that :D I beat my previous score (on this machine) by a factor of ten:

 No Points Name Hp [max]
1 2761126 kvance-Val-Hum-Fem-Law turned to stone in Gehennom on
level 50. Petrified by a cockatrice corpse (with the
                Amulet). 216 [217]
2 279035 kvance-Val-Hum-Fem-Law died in The Quest on level 21
[max 25]. Killed by Lord Surtur. - [130]

So yesterday, I started up on spacegame again. While working on the AI, I got sucked into a bug that led all the way down to my game data parser. I paused before running valgrind... oh so many memory problems. Too bad C was the only language I knew when I started on this thing :P

Now, I ought to work on my computer vision problem set. I'm writing intelligent scissors.
