So, I'm back home. Machines back up. I'm tired. And so on.

Since it's the month of May, every ex-MZXer with a LiveJournal is doing a 3rd anniversary post. Yesterday was mine. Completely forgot what with all the goings-on. No clip show, no precis, no analysis. Maybe next year.

..and I just remembered that now that I'm back home, I can hook my JP-8000 up and get back to making it work with Buzz Tracker. Oh joy! :D

So, right after I wrote that, I spilled a whole glass of water onto my computer. Most of it poured into the blowhole, getting everything wet, causing the machine to halt immediately. The fact that it halted immediately rather than, say, exploded gives me hope that no permanent damage was done. I'll just let it sit for a while with my deskfan blowing..

Which machine was that? The Dually?

Was it just tap water?

Yeah. I was freaking out because when I booted it up the first time, it started complaining about a mismatch in processor speeds! I let it dry some more, and now it seems to be fine, except I noticed that the fan on my GF4 is no longer spinning. This may be unrelated though, because the temperature is much higher here, so I may not have noticed it before. That might even explain a few things.
