I am standing in a Wawa waiting for someone to slice meat. And updating my LJ! Yep... Okay, I have nothing to write about. Update Ah, I've learned something from this test. The connection to the Palm device may time out before the HTTP connection times out. From what I've been reading, I'll need to send the Palm "tickle packets" at regular intervals while I'm being unresponsive. I guess I'll have to learn pthreads for this? (Communicating with the palm happens in C++, so that's where the threading has to happen) Additionally I thought I bought enough meat at that Wawa for sandwiches for the rest of the week, then ate most of it when I got back here. I must have been hungry :P |
