Can't stop thinking about spacegame. Things in the works:
- animated textures (shields, explosions)
- the ability to make ships explode
- cargo, radar, other HUD stuff
- comm stuff, dialog selector
- sound effects mixing
The engine will be more or less complete then. Which means I need to start walking away from the code and begin thinking about characters, plot, and design. I've known the basic premise of the game for nearly its entire life, but I haven't really figured out where it's going, who you meet. Gonna need to write a lot of dialog too.
So, that's where I am with that. Hoping to at least get animated textures done tonight.
There is also a CMSC250 test, which I will be concentrating on as time gets closer to thursday, and CMSC214 project #4
, which I'd like to get over with soon. Probably start on that towards the end of the week.
