HexxagonDS network logs

It's hard to believe how much code it took to get this far. Homebrew DS people might be getting a Christmas present from me after all.

That's HexxagonDS with dswifilib and a complete game protocol encoder, decoder, and event handler. It's connecting to a Twisted game server, which has been finished (plays the game if you want to manually type in the commands) and minimally tested since about a month ago.

Man. Your font looks better than ours. :P

You still around lately?

It's a font called DS9Computer, with some modifications at 16px.

And yes... at least in a coding sense. :P

We just have a bad import of a font. All the leading and stuff is just totally messed up. No one's bothered to fix it yet. :P

I've been scripting bad AI in Python. :P

Did you take that picture by pointing your camera phone at your monitor? Doesn't linux support "Print Screen" (which incidentally is my favorite leftover from the DOS era).

It is entirely possible to take a screenshot in X, but one presumes he wanted to kill two birds with one stone, rather than take a screenshot and then superimpose the DS.

I didn't see it at first, either. But then I looked harder and there it is!

Oh, heh there it is. I knew Kvance's DS was white so I didn't put it together that the giant black square wasn't a window but the DS with a strong light source from the monitor behind it. Once I upped the contrast and brightness in photoshop I was able to make out the buttons and what not. My bad.

It's not easy to take a good picture of a DS with a single exposure. DS plastic around a much brighter DS screen, in front of an even brighter monitor? Not even trying :P

Sad thing, as revealed by the exif tags in the image:

Equipment Make: SONY
Camera Model: DSC-S40

Not a camera phone, just shaky shaky hands.
