So some kind of tornado or something blasted through here this evening.
Trees were whipping around, the air was thick with rain, and branches
and trees were falling everywhre. It looks like the house and cars are
okay, fortunately. I haven't seen anything like this since the Maryland
tornado my freshman year at UMD.

Anyway, power's out, internet's out, I missed the new episode of Venture
Bros. But my laptop and DS have a full charge, and my cellphone and its
bluetooth still work!

This is the second time this week we've lost power. It's understandable
because of the crazy weather, but PECO has been way too optimistic on
fixing it tonight. They have totally identified the problem, and it'll
be fixed two hours after the last time they said it'd be fixed.

w3m thinks I want to use nano to edit posts, so it's not my fault if
this is formatted terribly :P

...WHAT? You're only what, 5 miles away? D: D: D: My mom told me when it happened, cause I was asleep but I think it decided to go down Route 1, since it missed my house cept a bit of rain :P

That happens when you don't use a browser that has javascript. Even though LJ knows you don't have javascript and knows your timezone, and could have the server fill in the time when you submit the post, it assumes you're going to remember to fill in the time field after you finish writing your entry.

Yeah, figures. It was serious about enforcing word wrap to 80 columns. It looks perfect on my console mode screen :P
