I've been using an MX-1000 wireless mouse since June 2nd, and I'm still not used to putting it on the cradle to recharge overnight. It's a good thing Li-Ion batteries charge through their lower capacities so quickly...

San Andreas has swallowed me whole.

Are those mice are heavy? My dad has an older wireless and I couldn't stand it because of its weight.

It's a little heavier than the MX-5000. The weight doesn't bother me, but I might prefer them heavier...

Also, there is no such thing as an MX-5000.

So basically you're saying its heavier than nothing?

That is a true statement. Also, it's heavier than the MX-500.

Personally I don't put my mouse on its cradle till it runs down to one light. I can usually get about a week of use on it before that happens. Now I've read on some forums that this is bad for the battery in the mouse but methinks that's bullshit. I've been using this mouse for a year now and have not noticed any change in the battery life at all. Also once it goes down to just one light I still have at least 12 hours before that light turns red meaning theres little juice left so I always have time to finish what I was doing for the day and put it on its cradle when I sleep.

Mine doesn't last 3 days. But I mean, that is a lot of GTA: SA.

3 days???

You've seen how much I use my comp.. At least 5 hours a day. And many days as much as 6 or 8 hours... So unless your putting in 14 hour days your mouse should be lasting longer... Then again heh maybe you are putting in 14 hour days.

Heh, probably not 14 hours. But since I always forget to put it on the charger, it's not starting from a full charge. I'm not sure I've even seen the third battery light on...

Das is not good. I charged my mouse up a day or so before I left for the bahamas. I didn't bother to even turn it off when I left. I was gone for 5 days then came back. Not only was the there still 3 lights on when I came back but I've playing battlfield demo for a 2 days (I'd say at least 4 hours a day) and the third light is still on.

You might want to consider sending it back to newegg.

I finally charged it overnight, and the third light is on (and has been all day). I think this is the first time it's ever had time to charge fully!
