There's always an easy way to do it. I took a look at the changes between the normal and cracked old SoundFX DLL and searched for the same values and made the same changes in the new one. Ahhh, sound in DOS games at last...

heh

nice mood. :)

btw, do you have the source to that cal.cgi you use in your LJ style? I'd like to make that available to everybody if you don't mind ... it looks pretty cool.

Re: heh

Sure. It's simple, but it's pretty nice. Here's the sources.

if you're so 31337

I've got working phoneline + modem at home now. all I need is some 31337 person to help me get a working connection in redhat 6.2, I found this little application, and it tells me I'm connected, but I can't use web, telnet, irc, anything. :(
I think it's something to do with hostnames and DNSes and gateways.
a modprobe bttv brought up nothing, btw.
I guess I have to recompile it into my kernel?

Re: if you're so 31337

Okay, your modem connects to something, right? What is the output of /sbin/ifconfig? You may need to find out the address of your isp's nameserver and put it in /etc/resolv.conf.
