Hey, a Red Dwarf episode has 10000 more frames than a Get Smart episode.

Render, render, render, crash.

My vornado is now cooling my machine instead of me. This is very effective for keeping my machine's cpu and hdd temps down, and very annoying for my kvance temps.

I don't know, actually. Depends on your motherboard. For my VIA board, I used viahm in win2k, but couldn't get it to work in xp. In the BIOS, there's usually an option called PC Health Monitor, or something along those lines.

75C sounds fine, especially if it's only running at 30C. (My 1.33GHz athlon system has actually run at 75C before) What CPU do you have? My athlon MP system, for instance, runs to 95C.

Yeah, I too have frigging huge heatsinks on my new machine. Unfortunately, the whole system has very dinky fans. So, the heatsinks are helpless with no airflow.

I figure I'll wait until it gets to be summer again before I go trying to fix the airflow with newer fans. I like how quiet the machine runs, for having 3 hard drives and 7 fans :)
