Made some progress updating Handhelj, in terms of GUI anyway:

The buttonbar on the bottom enable/disable, and when they enable, you get a little dialog thing (kinda like the one shown) to setup the particular metadata. The little LJ dude next to the Post button will change to one of the other security icons if you so choose. Will hack more tomorrow.

Also, been reading The Moon is a Harsh Mistress. Really really like it so far. Can't believe I've gone so far in life without reading any Heinlein!

Dude, The Moon is a Harsh Mistress is my favorite Heinlein book. How far you get in it?

And once you're done, tell me it isn't amazing that Heinlein was able to write the entire book in loony style of words.

I'm about halfway through. And I was wondering about the Loonie dialect when I first started reading, but now I hardly notice. I think /I'm/ going to start talking Loonie soon!

it's really easy to slip into that, but it goes away a month after reading the book.

You gotta love Mike. :P

You poor, deprived person. Now you must also read everything else he has written. My personal favourites (besides The Moon is a Harsh Mistress) are Friday and Stranger in a Strange Land. Best of all, each of his stories is very different. The only two common threads which all his works share are science fiction settings and strong main characters. Heinlein does not write about wimps.
