aUGH, so I go to another psyc experiment and nobody is there. The room number (which I've verified on the website) had a sign posted about a different experiment. The two people conducting other experiments in that hallway didn't know anything about it. I just came back and sent out an email about it. AND I'M FUCKING SICK, HERE!

Well, I've excercised due dilligence, I'd better not get screwed on this.

My theory is that that's part of the experiment. Having identified you as a prime specimen of whatever psychological profile *N?X hackers fall into, they want to see how you react to being forced to go to psychological experiments where nobody shows up. Some kind of isolation thing. They probably have a control group of *N?X hackers who are told to show up, and then are politely greeted, given a bagel and a cup of coffee, and then dismissed a few minutes later.
