was right (Homer: Larry Flint is right!) -- sshock2 did kill most of my time. My excercise in getting text in OpenGL has shown me how little I know about this stuff. The last time I felt this confused was when I was first learning C and playing with some DOS graphics libraries. I have TexFont loading fonts (presumably), and can arbitrarily render /SOMETHING/ to a point on the screen during gameplay. The problem is that instead of rendering the font texture, it seems to be rendering the last texture in the stack, which is either part of the ship or its "thruster on" picture. I could figure this out, or I could go to sleep.
