I can't help feeling like I'm supposed to be doing something. I mean something besides playing Deus Ex. Enh.

Oh, I know. Now that I have the means, I can finally send livejournal some money for a paid account. Now I must make more userpics!

I think its all the subliminal messages I've been sending you to work on the "Update on hotsync" for windows. :)

... I may just have to buy a wireless modem if someone doesn't make a way I can update LJ on Hotsync.

But... windows development is so alien and scary! Actually, I've heard that pilot-link is ported to windows, so it might be possible to do a command-line windows conduit as a straight port of the unix version.

*nod*

Definitely alien.

I'll look into the Pilot-link port. Would save me from having to hot-sync avantgo (over my sad little dialup) every time I wanted to install an app.

... or I could go back to running Linux. I gave up Unix while working for The Empire, because its easiest if you just run their crap while you're there. But now that I'm a Unix SA again I should be back where I belong.

Never played, much, with Linux & PalmOS... any suggested links?

Re: *nod*

Everything you need to get started with palmos development on linux is at palmos.com. Then it's just a matter of bashing though the reference manual. Note that conduit development is completely unrelated to application development. To do that, examine the example conduits that come with pilot-link
