Uh oh. I was doing some assembly programming and got real dizzy all of the sudden. I'm still a little disoriented.

What happened?

Dehydration is usually what it is for me.

Or an overdose of beta radiation. =)

is that where your cheeks go all hot and red, and your eyes hurt when they blink?

Don't ask me. All I know is I get dizzy if I sit in front of a monitor for too long. Of course, that might not have anything to do with its beta radiation.

It's probably the refresh rate. Anything under 85Hz gets pretty annoying. 100+ is better.

At work, I have an LCD display so that isn't it.

naw, I'm building a new computer anyway. I'm getting an ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon. I can stand this for a few more weeks. =)

Re:

So you don't get the eye-pain-blink thing when playing a competitive computer game for an hour or two?

You were programming in assembly? There's your problem right there.

This is clearly due to excessive exposure to CISC. The solution is to move to an arhitecture more compatible with reason.
