Heh. Well, even though I didn't get one old piece of hardware working (...yet), I got another! A friend at work lent me a floppy drive for my ancient NEC P/75 laptop. Now I can boot it!

A while ago, I toasted the boot sector, and it became a paperweight because my floppy was dead. Now all I have to do is not make the same mistake again. Hopefully, installing GRUB should do the trick.

Red Hat Linux release 5.9 (Starbuck)
Kernel 2.2.13 on an i586

This is a different one that's been broken for a while. The one I got from work is a P233 (which actually has all working parts!)
