czircon checked his mail at msstate.edu, which reminded me to see if my shell at wam.umd.edu was up yet. It was, and I had one piece of mail in my inbox: a job offer for part-time unix and windows administration in the fall!

Hehe, it'll be easy work. I might as well send them my resume.

(disturbing fact) I have three Eterms open now, all running pine in different locations: localhost, umd.edu, and wmute.net. I didn't plan that at all :P

heh, ASU created a web-based email service last year after lots of students complained that the current one - using pine - was too difficult to use. Pine. Too difficult to use. My advice to these people is to never, ever click that icon on their WinBlows screen that says "MS-DOS Prompt". Annoyingly, the web-based service kicks you out after 15 minutes. argh.

Heh, I never understood how anyone thinks that pine is too hard. It's got to be the easiest program in the world to use!
