I've run into a wall with this C64. I have no way to test it, because I have no way to get it to interface with anything. When I turn it on, the red light turns on. This is a good sign.

I have no way to connect the display to my TV tuner. There's some kind of switch box I need that turns the RCA-type video/audio composite into coax. I'd rather have it go to RCA video and sound, so I could plug it into the second input on my TV tuner. I wonder if this is possible.

Also, I have two floppy drives: a 1541 and a VIC-1541. I have no cables for them, however. There goes the only other way to test if the C64 is operational.

Finally, I have no joysticks. Though, I think I could use atari paddles. This isn't really important. And CLR/HOME came off:

Oh well, that key wasn't too useful.

I don't suppose any of you out there have any of this stuff? :)

The only part of my C64 that ever worked was the dust cover.

joysticks

If you happen to have a sega master system control pad, those work fine in the C64. Don't know about a genesis pad, I think it's just a lucky coincidence the SMS has the same pinouts as the c64, unless it's actually an RFC. Anyway, you could probably make the cables if you wanted to, I assume you still have commodore books detailing pinouts?

I have my old VIC-20. It'd probably still work if I could find the cables that you need to link together all the parts.

And I think my keyboard is missing CLR/HOME too.

Hey, if you can find 'em, I'd gladly pay the shipping.
