Worked on MZX Sound Server today. Windows sucks. In Win2k, it takes a long time to load and is rather unresponsive. In WinME, it doesn't load at all until MZX quits. I might have to find another way to pass messages between mzx and mzxss. mzxs31s | mzxss doesn't seem to be working that well...

Although perhaps rather unpractical, you could probably create some kind of virtual device driver that would present ports that MZX could access in real-mode.
