Been at the library since 11:30, researching Samuel Taylor Coleridge. It's been a long while since I've been to a library; I think that if I was living before the Internet, I'd spend all my time there.

At any rate, I got plenty of research done.

I want to continue learning OpenGL. Too bad XFree4 killed my hardware acceleration. Perhaps I'll try getting XFree3 to exist with it. Maybe I could do this by unpacking it into a different root directory and using LD_LIBRARY_PATH to load the correct libraries for the second X server. I could actually leave that one running twm at 640x480x16bit to save memory...

*kicks kev*

dammit, I need to learn OpenGL. I have the red book, blue book, and the nehe tutorials bookmarked. Uh, do you have any other recommendations?

Owen keeps shitting me about camera positioning in a 3D OpenGL game, and I don't know jack about it.

I have the red book, and I've taken a look at the nehe tutes also. There's also an interactive tutorial called POT that's Tcl/Tk based; I remember using that a long time ago. I've no idea where you can get it, though.

Cameras are weird. I did it the complete wrong way in glZZT (trial and error :)
