I need a laptop. There are usually 94 minutes every day in school where I have nothing to do. This time could be better spent working on KevEdit and PalmLJ, which I never feel like doing when I get home. Trying to fix my NEC P/75 is prohibitively expensive -- new floppy, battery, and probably hard drive for old laptop. Plus the PCMCIA slots are busted beyond repair. The machine itself is big and clunky, but it would get the job done.

Dell

Dell makes great laptops!

You can probably find, say, old Lattitudes for pretty cheap, with TFT screens and such. I got a Lattitude LM w/ 166mhz PMMX, 72MB RAM, 3 GB HDD, CD & Floppy, Li-Ion battery, 12" TFT screen, touchpad for $700 about 9 months ago.
