So these came today. They're new Eibach pro-kit springs to replace the sagging Neuspeed ones that the previous owner installed. Funny thing... the old springs are black too, but Neuspeed doesn't make black springs for the Prelude. I wonder what they're from. As soon as the weather becomes cooperative, I'm going to attempt to swap the springs myself. It's definitely the most complicated car operation I've undertaken so far, but I don't think there's any part of it I can't do. Except maybe removing the dreaded lower ball joint. I'm hoping that the local Honda dealer will loan me the special ball joint remover tool. Unless the weather forecast changes, I probably won't be able to start until Sunday. I can't wait :) |
