Wikipedia has been decreasing in usefulness over the last few years as more of its contents are deleted for non-notability, fancruft, etc. Because article deletions should be well-documented, I expect it would be possible to make a synchronized fork of the site, with these articles automatically restored. Call it an "unabridged wikipedia." If deleted and useful sections of existing articles are also easy to identify, perhaps they could be merged back in automatically as well.
The reason I bring it up is that when I need to look up the name of a Katamari cousin, I wouldn't have to go flying into a Stephen Colbert-like rage trying to find an article that my instincts tell me has definitely been written
